Leysa & Freyr's Litter

Tuesday, June 17, 2008-The pups are officially two weeks old today! Not only are all still alive, but seem to be in great health, getting fatter and bigger every day. They have their eyes mostly open now, although while I shot the following photos, they were trying to nap, so some didn't want to open their eyes to be photographed. Leysa is nursing them well, and takes great care of them. She still doesn't like for the other dogs to come near, but she's slowly relaxing. Beginning here, for the convenience of all concerned, I am assigning a reference number to each pup so when I am discussing a pup with someone on the phone or by email, we can both be sure we are talking about the same pup.
