Leysa's Freyr De Le Rose!
(Born May 23, 2005)
Freyr is our younger male and Leysa's mate. We traded one of our female pups to another breeder for Freyr (pronounced "Fray"). In Norse mythology, Freyr was the God of fertility. We figured that would be a good name for a boy that we hope will someday bless us with many beautiful pups! Freyr is a very gentle-hearted soul! He tries hard to get along with all the other dogs, and regularly cleans their ears for them. With my son's pup, Freyr is especially gentle and forgiving, even when the pup get's carried away with those very sharp little puppy-teeth! Freyr is just ten months old as of this writing, and he is already taller that our older dogs. Give him a couple years to finish growing and filling out, and he should be magnificent!
